Sikhi does not believe in reincarnation after physical death. We do believe in Karma. What we sow so shall we reap in this life
Lets read this shabd on page 885 of Satguru Arjan Dev JI, Please read this entire Shabd. Here are a few lines :
Pawnei meh pawn smaia II Joyoti meh jyot ral jaia II Maati maati hoee ek II ……….
Koun mooaa re koun mooaa II Brahm giani mil kroh becharaa eh to chalat bhaia II
Agli kish khabr na Paaee II ……. Na koee mreh na Avai Jaaia II
When we die, breath (air) mix with air. Joyoti (life force/ Soul) mix with Parmjoyot. The dead body mix with elements, mother earth or fire after cremation. We go back where we came from. Life Force is an Energy, and we know that energy never destroys but can change it’s form. No one dies and no one comes and goes. Nobody has come back to tell us!

The body elements goes back to Earth. Our soul goes to where it came from (God). As we know the Energy doesn’t destroy but change into other form. Once we die no one comes back in any form, Sikhi doesn’t believe in reincarnation after physical death
Sorry for your loss Sharon Ji. Keep yourself strong. Listen to Gurbani and Keertan it will give you peace and strenth. Akaal Purkh Bliss!

I agree with Vindri Kaur Ji
Ashes are ashes part of the Mother Earth. There is no problem to bring home. We loved
the deceased when living why to worry bringing his ashes at home. We shouldn’t believe in superstitions.
I have told my kids to spread my ashes in front and backyard of my house. So was wish of my wife. If you cannot do this then go to stream/river closeby or find a closeby bushes to spread
God Bless your father’s soul and give courage to your family to bear this loss

HAR HAR KIRPA KRUHO PRABH APNEE MUKH DEVOHU HAR NIMKHAATI II
HAR BIN REH NA SAKAO EK RAATI II
Satguru Raam Daas ji requests Akaal Purkh’s Grace to satisfy his immense inner quest to be with Akaal Purkh all the times. He cannot live even for a second without Akaal Purkh realization. By giving an example of a rainbird who is always very eager for a raindrop to quench his thirst. Guru Sahib tells us our Creator is a deep ocean full of virtues and Infinite. Those who realize Akaal Purkh becomes Gurmukhs and obtain higher spirituality. Our Creator is the Greatest and those who realize His/Her virtues become virtuous. Guru Ji says I am your slave save me as you always protect the honor of Gurmukhs.

JEEVN NUKT SO AAKHIAA MER JEEVAI MARIAA II ANK 448-49
This should be our goal in life to become jeevan mukt now not afterlife. Conrolling lust, anger, greed, strong attachment with things and Ahangkaar. By bringing home the virtues such as Truth, Divine love, Contentment, Compassion, Egoless. Humility. Sahej. Kindness, Forgiveness. Patience, no Enmity, no Jealousy etc.
We have to work on this hard, then with His/Her Grace Charhdi Kalaa, joy, peace will be on our way
