I've made a few mistakes, and as a result, I'm facing financial struggles. Could you please advise me on how to uplift myself and achieve my goals? I don't want to give up despite the current situation I'm going through.

You need to let go of the past and move forward. For moving forward you need the blessings of the Almighty Waheguru ji. Whenever you feel down, recite
Pichle Augun Bakhsh Laye Prabh Aage Marg Pave
and you will get the strength to move forward.
Respected Brother/Sister,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that, the condition in which you are in, Ardas to Akalpurakh, for His blessings, to remain in Chardi Kala, can take you out of your present condition, because the Guru teaches us:-
The word Ardas appears in Guru Granth Sahib many times. The word Ardas is made from Persian word Arjdashat i.e. Arj + Dashat Arj means request (ਬੇਨਤੀ) and Dashat means to present (ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ). Thus, Ardas is a request from a person/Sikh to Akalpurakh in which he/she shares his suffering/ sorrow/ sadness/ distress/agony/ grief/pain etc. or well being/ delight/ pleasure/happiness etc. (ਦੁੱਖ ਜਾਂ ਸੁੱਖ) with Him.
At Panna 103 of Guru Granth Sahib, the Fifth Guru Person, Guru Arjan Sahib says: ‘ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ which means that since Akalpurakh is my father, mother, every relation and protector everywhere, therefore, I have no cause to be worried.
Therefore, the Sikh always (in happy times or sad/hard times – ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਸੁੱਖ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਗਮੀ) requests Akalpurakh for His blessings, to remain in Chardi Kala! To seek blessings of Akalpurakh, is the significance of Ardas.
Here, the undersigned will like to add that the Ardas to Akalpurakh, for His blessings (i.e. moral strength), should be matched with efforts and appropriate steps to come out of the situation.
Hope that this helps. If you have any further questions, please do ask. If you find any deficiencies, please point out the same, for improvement in future.
Regards,
Your Brother
