ਕੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਖਿਆਵਾਂ (ਸਿੱਖੀ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਲੋਕਾਂ/ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਾਨਵਤਾ ਲਈ? Are Guru Sahib’s teachings (Sikhism) for a particular people/region of the world or for all humanity?

ਇਕ ਆਮ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਹੈ ” ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮੱਛੀ ਦੇਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮੱਛੀ ਫੜਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਚ ਸਿਖਾ ਦੇਵੋ”। ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਜਰੀਆ ਕੀ ਹੈ? (1) ਮੁਫਤ ਖੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮੁਫਤ ਦੇਣ ਬਾਰੇ(2) ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਸਾਸੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਆਮਦਨ/ਰੋਜਗਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ। A common saying is “If you want to help someone, teach them how to fish rather than give them a fish”. What is Gurmat viewpoint ? (1) About the free giving of everything else to free eaters (2) Help to create labor instruments/institutions for workers so that they can generate more income/employment.

Guru Saheb has advised Gursikhs to share some part of their profit to help the needy. Is there any advice to prefer Gursikhs for such help? ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਾਭ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਲਾਹ ਹੈ?
