      ਪਿਤਾ ਕਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਕਿ ਜਾਨੈ ਪੂਤੁ ॥ – 284
Son can not know how father was born. Akal Purkh is the father of all and everything. Hence we can not know about His birth.
We can see unlimited number of physical entities around us. These all have been formed from something else with some process. We will have to build the chain for formation backward to origin. Which is impossible.
That is why Guru Sahib have taught about the self creation about Akal Purkh.
With science we are able to go up to particle level and not beyond that.
We know very little about the life and things operating at mental level.
Hence we can go up to some particular level and not beyond that.

Jaskaranji spiritual philosophy of NANAK does not say GOD created itself, rather it says THE SHABAD, UNIVERSAL LIFE ENRGY. ESSENCE OF LIFE ( AAD SACH) existed itself ( SAIBHANG) before anything else. THE UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY manifested itself as universe. In other words NIRGUN ,THE FORMLESS BECAME SIRGUN , THE UNIVERSE. It is mistake to say GOD created itself or GOD created this universe. I think science today kind of agree with this .

In very simlple language Sikhi believe in the scientific BIG BANG theory of the creation of the universe. Gurbani believes 1ਓ is one. In NIRGUN state He/She is omnipresent, omnipotent and transcendental, in Immanent SARGUN state; Creator is in the creation, kind, loving, compessionate etc.

We know the scientific truth about energy. It cannot be destroyed but can change its form. God within his/her Will can take Sargun to Nirgun and vice versa .

SARGUN NIRGUN NIRANKAR SUN SMADHI AAP II ANK 290
AAPN KEEIA NANAKA AAPE HE PHIR JAAP II

AARBAD NERBAD DHUUNDU KARAA II ANK 1035-36
DHARN NA GAGNA HUKAM AAPARA II
NA DIN RAIN NA CHAND NA SURAJ SUUN SMADH LAGAIDA II

For endless time there was utter darkness. There was no earth or sky. There was infinite Hukm (command) of God. There was no day or night, no sun or moon, 1ਓ was in primal (Nirgun) state

SIKHISM is not a religion it leads all humanity to brother hood of mankind.guru sahibji and Sikhs sacrifices so that this voice should be reach to the all humanity on earth.but selfishness of our political and religious leaders has made it narrow. so no doubt it have directly related to one.AND HIS OWN.

Don’t think anyone can answer this question in a way which can satisfy your desire of knowledge; as the answer may (hope so) be attained by experience not discussion.

Gurbani Never said God was self-created. It says God is self-existent.
Creation means there must exist a beginning point, a time when it was created. But God has no beginning point / no birth.

The truth is something which remains unchanged. If someone has no birth nor death then it has no need to be created. Sikhi doesn’t state what you have mentioned
