ਪਿਤਾ ਕਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਕਿ ਜਾਨੈ ਪੂਤੁ ॥ – 284
Son can not know how father was born. Akal Purkh is the father of all and everything. Hence we can not know about His birth.
We can see unlimited number of physical entities around us. These all have been formed from something else with some process. We will have to build the chain for formation backward to origin. Which is impossible.
That is why Guru Sahib have taught about the self creation about Akal Purkh.
With science we are able to go up to particle level and not beyond that.
We know very little about the life and things operating at mental level.
Hence we can go up to some particular level and not beyond that.
Thank you
SIKHISM is not a religion it leads all humanity to brother hood of mankind.guru sahibji and Sikhs sacrifices so that this voice should be reach to the all humanity on earth.but selfishness of our political and religious leaders has made it narrow. so no doubt it have directly related to one.AND HIS OWN.
Thank you
Jaskaranji spiritual philosophy of NANAK does not say GOD created itself, rather it says THE SHABAD, UNIVERSAL LIFE ENRGY. ESSENCE OF LIFE ( AAD SACH) existed itself ( SAIBHANG) before anything else. THE UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY manifested itself as universe. In other words NIRGUN ,THE FORMLESS BECAME SIRGUN , THE UNIVERSE. It is mistake to say GOD created itself or GOD created this universe. I think science today kind of agree with this .
Thank you
Kandola Sahib.
You say God is SHABAD, ENERGY.
But Guru Nanak said “As the Word of the Forgiving Lord comes to me, so do I express it, O Lalo: SGGS SGGS 722 Tilang M:1)” meaning that SHABAD (Word of God – Khasam Ki Bani) came from God. God self-existed before the Shabad was created. So SHABAD is not God, but one can say Bani, the word of God, is the manifestation of God in the creation.
Secondly, ENERGY has units TIME … But God is timeless … so GOD cannot be ENERGY. ENERGY only exists in the creation not in the timeless realm where God existed before the creation. After creating the creation, God pervades the creation … this does not mean the creation is God.
Gurbani Never said God was self-created. It says God is self-existent.
Creation means there must exist a beginning point, a time when it was created. But God has no beginning point / no birth.

In very simlple language Sikhi believe in the scientific BIG BANG theory of the creation of the universe. Gurbani believes 1ਓ is one. In NIRGUN state He/She is omnipresent, omnipotent and transcendental, in Immanent SARGUN state; Creator is in the creation, kind, loving, compessionate etc.
We know the scientific truth about energy. It cannot be destroyed but can change its form. God within his/her Will can take Sargun to Nirgun and vice versa .
SARGUN NIRGUN NIRANKAR SUN SMADHI AAP II ANK 290
AAPN KEEIA NANAKA AAPE HE PHIR JAAP II
AARBAD NERBAD DHUUNDU KARAA II ANK 1035-36
DHARN NA GAGNA HUKAM AAPARA II
NA DIN RAIN NA CHAND NA SURAJ SUUN SMADH LAGAIDA II
For endless time there was utter darkness. There was no earth or sky. There was infinite Hukm (command) of God. There was no day or night, no sun or moon, 1ਓ was in primal (Nirgun) state
Thank you
I assume you claim that Gurbani believes in the BIG BANG theory. I think this is wrong. Gurbani stated ਏਕ ਕਵਾਵੈ ਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਹੋਅਆ in 1500. BIG BANG was introduced around 1950s, 450 years later. The fact is that the BIG BANG substantiates what Gurbani stated 450 years ago. How can you claim that Gurbani believes in a mathematical explanation that did not exist?
Do not compare NIRGUN/SARGUN to energy conservation. Energy does not exist in the NIRGUN state. Such statement will mislead the reader/learner.
Don’t think anyone can answer this question in a way which can satisfy your desire of knowledge; as the answer may (hope so) be attained by experience not discussion.
Please download and read the book (at the LINK). You may find it may satisfy your desire of knowledge. You are welcome to ask questions on the book. See link on pages ii.

The truth is something which remains unchanged. If someone has no birth nor death then it has no need to be created. Sikhi doesn’t state what you have mentioned
Gurbani says God is SELF-EXISTENT ਸੈਭੰ. Please read and understand Timeless and Time-bound in the book (at the LINK). Also read Appendix 2 and you will better understand where leading scientist concluded. You are welcome to ask questions on the book. See link on page ii.

There is no god , there is only existance of nature
Kudrat balhari vasya….
Pawan guru pani pita, mata dharat mahat
Divas raat dui daai daya khele sagal jagat
And guru nanak sahib also said sachkhand vase nirakar
Because if there is god then nobody wants to be god because there will be no rest time and 24×7 buisy to make account of billions of people, animals, birds sea animals and insects etc.and which language will be common for Europe, africa and Asian …so respect the natur and do meditation 🧘♂️ to make ur mind strong as u go zym to make ur body strong. If any question left plz ask
