Guru Gobind Singh ji calls the Almighty his mitar, friend and appraises Him of his presnt condition in this world after separation from family
he further says that even in these conditions he won’t forget remembering Him and all world riches are of no good if one forgets Him
THIS POEM IS WRITTEN BY A POET OF MUGHAL EMPEROR SHAH JAHAN
Please note that this is not the writing of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, but of a poet who is describing about “Heer Rangha”.
Guru Gobind Singh Sahib has ordered all the Sikh’s to follow Guru Granth Sahib. With the permission of Akal Purkh this Panth has been started.
Please note that when order is given by the Guru, then a Sikh does not have any right to say no or any type of excuse or argument. Now question arises, are we obeying the order of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib?
Guru Gobind Singh Sahib has ordered the Sikh’s to follow Guru Granth Sahib as their Guru. He has not mentioned about any other Granth. But some people have started propaganda for a new Granth which is being given equal importance in some of the places. Are we not disobeying the order of our own Guru?
The way we have destroyed most of our own historical evidences, the same way we are trying to lower the importance of Guru Granth Sahib.
Guru Sahib’s have clearly mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib that there can be one and only one “Akal Purkh”. Similarly there can only be one and only one Guru for the Sikhs and that is Guru Granth Sahib.
In the above mentioned order Guru Gobind Singh Sahib has clearly ordered and advised to carry out research (ਖੋਜ) through the Shabad. Are we obeying this order?
Mostly we confine ourselves to the ritual reading and not at all bothered about its in-depth study, understanding or research. This is the main reasons that the present day Sikhs are highly confused.
Guru Nanak Sahib knew more than hundred languages and many other subjects in great depth. How much do we know? Many evidences and realities are present in Guru Granth Sahib which are now being understood with the help of present day science.
If we want to progress in our life and maintain our dignity, then we should start studying, understanding and following Guru Granth Sahib in our day to day life.
