Should we eat Langar/ਲੰਗਰ before or after Matha Tek at Gurudwara?

He ( Guru Nanak) thought in terms of utilizing God consciousness for transforming and spiritualizing the life on earth and humanity.”—– from the book ‘Mejudice’

No Sikh principle is involved in the tradition of a man walking ahead of a woman for the lavan ceremony. it is just a tradition.
The reason behind this tradition lies in the societal set up, where a man was expected to be responsible for the welfare and protection of the wife physically as well as financially. Taking the lead means accepting such responsibility. The tradition started because earlier women were totally dependent on man.
Now the circumstances have changed. Now women are independent and enjoy equality with men.
So if a woman declares that she will take responsibility of the man in every respect, she should be allowed to lead.
Some people suggest that man and woman should walk side by side. if we decide to do so then one of the both will walk closer to the Guru and the other away from the Guru.
As the Guru loves both his daughters and sons equally, so they should walk equidistant from the Guru which is possible only if onen of them walks ahead the other.
Since in Sikhism both man and woman are equal, we should start the practice of allowing the one to take the lead who declares to take responsibility of the other.
