It lays down that the marriage of a Sikh’s daughter should be with only a Sikh. Obviously, the same will apply for a Sikh’s son as well. Hope it helps.
We should keep in mind that SIKH REHAT MAYADA has many flaws , need to be corrected. Yes marriage should be between two like minded, compatible individuals. To say that Sikh boy or girl should marry a Sikh is not acceptable to youth of today. Such the restrictions push them away from SIKHI.

ਸਿੱਖੀ ਕਾਗਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਨਹੀਂ। ਬਲਕਿ ਤਹਿ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ। ਭੁੱਲ ਚੁੱਕ ਦੀ ਖਿਮਾਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਜੀ।
