Respected Brother/Sister,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
In response to your question the undersigned wants to say that there are no Sanatan Sikhs in Sikhism. This term has been designed by anti-Sikh forces to show them part of Hinduism.
The Sikh is a Seeker of Truth and by rising above the fright of death, he has to become Khalsa. The undersigned further wants to bring to your kind notice that the word ‘Khalsa’ is a Persian word which means ‘King’s personal land’. Therefore, the Sikh, who is a student, after imbibing the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib has to become Akalpurakh’s own i.e. a Khalsa and rise above the fright of death.
In Guru Granth Sahib, the word ‘Khalsa’ appears in one place in the Bani of Kabir ji and he is guiding us:-
ਪਰਿਓ ਕਾਲੁ ਸਭੈ ਜਗ ਊਪਰ ਮਾਹਿ ਲਿਖੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ॥ ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜਨ ਭਏ ਖਾਲਸੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਜਿਹ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 654}
In the political sense, Khalsa is a sign of ‘Sikh Sovereignty’. The practice of giving Pahul was started by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib on the Vaisakhi day of 1699 to prepare a disciplined force of ‘Sant Sipahis (ਸੰਤ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ)’, so as to fight against all kind of oppression/tyranny/persecution/atrocity/cruelty.This disciplined force of Sant Sipahis came to be known as Khalsa i.e. Akalpurakh’s own, who rose above the fright of death and fought all kind of oppression/tyranny/persecution/atrocity/cruelty in the past and continue to do so.
If you have any further questions, please do ask. If there are any shortcomings please do point out the same for improvement in future.
Regards,
Your Brother
