This is tradition may or may not have a spiritual meaning. I am unable to find a reference to KARHAAH PARSHAADI in Guru Granth Sahib ji Bani. There are many a reference to GUR PARSAADI,
Gur is enlightenment or Enlightener, and PARSAADI means with the grace of, help of. Therefore GUR PARSAADI means with the help of or grace of the Guru.
So the literal meaning of KARHAH PARSAADI is the blessing of KARHAH..
So, the KARHAH PARSHADI is a nourishing food to share with the Sangat after Sangat has been listening to the service and might be hungry. As best as I know Gurbani, there is no spiritual value or importance attached to it.
