No. Bowing to Satguru Granth Sahib Ji is not an idol worship. It’s paying respect to Gurbani. SGGS is ocean of divine Wisdom.
Read, listen, sing, understand and live life according to Gurbani
GURMUKH BANI NAAM HAI NAAM RIDAI VSAEE II ANK 1239
HAR JEO SACHA SACH HAI SACHI GURBANI II ANK 515
SATGUR KI BANI SAT SAROOP HAI GURBANI BANIAA II ANK 304
There are many more shabds on this concept in SGGS
Thank you
bowing means that I abide by your teachings and leave my views and intelligence to your feet
When I am bowing down to SGGS I an bowing down to SHABAD, DIVINE WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE so that I can transform my ignorance to WISDOM . Does an idol give you wisdom?
