      Respected Anonymous Ji,
      Gurbani says:
Meaning, The air sank into the air itself. The Nirankari Ansh merged in Nirankar under their rule. The dust of the body merged in the dust. Who is really dead? If you really have an understanding of the divine principle (hukam) then consider together, that the elements of the body are scattered and nothing is dead. These too have to go away in the same way. All the people are engrossed in illusions. This whole life passes away in the sleep of ignorance. Just like a dream does not come to hand, so life goes out of hand. The creation of the Creator is something like this. Birth and death are taking place in a burdensome Hukam (rule) of the Creator. After all, no one dies completely. The elements change the form, as God Himself is immortal but without the body. In the same way, the elements are also immortal. The Guru has dispelled all my doubts and illusions.

VPAWANAI MAHE PAWAN SAMAYA, JOTI MAHE JOT RAL JAYA (SGGS PAGE 885). Pardeep asked me to interpret this SHABAD. When I looked deeply into this, I found a profound spiritual message. If the message is grasped properly the fear of death and or any other fear could be dispelled from life.
GURU ARJUN SAHIBA SAYS birth and death of physical body is a natural process. Our body is 99% made of chemicals. At the end of our life journey chemicals are mixed with chemicals and air that help us breath are mixed with air. GURU says this is the play of life that is happening according to laws of nature. It is our physical body that vanishes from among us. GURU says nothing actually dies. THE UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY, ESSENCE OF LIFE, THE JOYT that is eternal never dies. JOT MAHE JOT RAL JAYA. THE UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY, THAT KEEPS US ALIVE merges with UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY. It is then serious misconception to say that so and so died. GURU says AWAN JANN IK KHEL BANAYA meaning birth and death are the natural play of life. nobody lives for ever. When I deeply consciously understand that I am not my body, completely detach from it, my fear of so called death and or any other fear dies. I accept the play of life. This explains why BHAI MANI SINGHJI WAS CUT INTO PIECES AND REMAINED CALM AND STABLE. I understand it is easy said than done. I know as humans we have emotions but again emotions are product of our thought process. These are my thoughts, what are your comments .

It has been cleared replied by earlier authors that the Jyot merges with the complete Jyot like the body mixes with the soil.
There is nothing in our hand regarding this because it is according to the Hukam of Akal Purkh which is not in our hand.
However, we can definitely light the Jyot of knowledge within us with the help of Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib.

Sohila – 13
