I have seen a lot sikhs have tattoo of khanda, ik onkar or other religious symbols on their body. Is it not disrespect of Gurbani, especially when they drink alcohol and do other stuff against Sikhi.

What matters is a tattoo of divine wisdom of Gurbani on our consciousness, rest is all ignorance.
The main target of Gurmat is to understand the Hukam of Akal Purkh and try to become Sachyaar /Truthfull person. At the same time we must understand that whatever we do, we should be ready to bear the consequences.
Akal Purkh have created all the body parts with specific purposes. If we play with the body parts then we may suffer in the long run.

While making the tattoos, we disturbing the equilibrium of the skin.
Those who are not able to control their mind gets carried away by external propaganda. However Gurmat teaches us to control our mind so that we can take our mind and body in the right direction.
