Some people will differ on the opinion if Sikhs are allowed to eat any meat.
As per Gurbani there is no restriction on eating any meat. As per Sikh Rehat Maryada the KUTHA (meat of animal whose throat is cut slowly in Islamic way) is prohibited.
There is no restriction on eating pork.
The shape of human teeth are not formed by creator like the meat eater animals.
What does this mean?
There are no taboos on eating any animal meat including pork,beef or yak as long as it is not killed as per any religious rituals especially by torturing it before death.
Any shikar can be eaten if it was hunted. Many of our Gurus were good hunters and indulged in shikar occasionally.
Nature has made us limited carnivores by providing four canines, which don’t exist in any of the herbivores species.
Eskimos live mostly on eating meat or fish throughout their lives, because no vegetables or grains can be grown on the poles.
