Yes, many people think Sikhi is part of Hinduism wrongly. Only those who do not understand the Sikhi say that.
And one of the reasons is that quite a number of Sikhs don’t understand the Sikhi and kind of follow the Hindu like practices, rituals. That does give an outsider the impression that Sikhi might be part of Hinduism.
Sikhi has its own scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib, and does not believe in any other scripture Hindu or otherwise. That should be enough to convince anyone that Sikhi is independent religion and not part of any other religion including Hinduism.
There is whole booklet available, “HAM HINDU NAHEEN” and explains in detail why Sikhi is not a part of Hinduism.
Sikhi is niether a religion nor a part of any religion.It is a way which leads all humanity towards well being of all living being on earth
Because that is what is being promoted by RSS among Hindus, who are in majority.
