There is no restriction to adopt children of other traditions. I know few friends who have adopted children irrespective of religion. This is a beauty of Sikh teachings on equlity of religion, gender, color, creed and caste. Recgnize all human race is one!

No one can claim to be a Sikh by birth. One has to adopt that. Hence, there is no restriction of any type like this. Any Sikh family can adopt any child. Many people have adopted like this.

When you are in a Sikh family, you have better chance to get awareness about Gurmat. This helps in achieving the goal to be a Sikh and helping the mankind.
