You are right in your observation that the number of Sikhs adorning themselves with 5Ks is slowly decreasing. It is more of a cultural change.
No one can predict the future with any certainty. However, one thing is showing up more and more: The Sikhi philosophy is being picked up by the followers of Humanism. They are defining the Humanism on the principles of Sikhi. So Sikhi philosophy appears to be the faith of future it may be called Humanism.
The 5K’s are now going out of fashion among Sikhs but no one knows when the wave will reverse and it comes back into fashion again.
