The original Sri Guru Granth Sahib is at Kartarpur near Jalandhar with the descendants of Dhir Mal. Another copy, which was simultaneously prepared in the presence of Bhai Gurdas ji and Guru Arjan Sahib is called Bhai Banno Wali Bir is at Gurdwara Bhai Banno, Kanpur.
