Very beautiful Shabd explaining the attributes of Akaal Purkh
Akal is A Kal meaning One who is not affected by time. We all are affected by time. In a day we get happy, angry, sad, jealous, greedy, but the Creator is above it. We need to try to reach above all these so that we are always in a blissful state and time does not affect us.
Purakh many scholars say God is male but here “Purakh” does not mean male, but omnipresent. In following Shabds “Purakh” is used as omnipresent.
AGGS 623
Vich Karta Purakh Khaloa || Val N Vinga Hoa ||
Those people, who obey Cosmic Law of God, have Omnipresent Creator with them all the time. Worldly vices (Maya) can’t harm them. Here Guru has used “Purakh” as omnipresent, not a male entity.
AGGS 759
Oh Abinasi Purakh Hai Sabh Mai Rahia Samae ||
God is Eternal Creator who is permeating and pervading among all.
We should see One Creator in all and treat all equally.

Akal means beyond time and purakh means every where
