      SIkh KHANDA is not part of Gurbani.
      It is meant to represent Sikhi soverinity.
      This symbol appears to be designed during 1920 and under the influence of British Government.
      it effectively replaces the SIkhi Nishan ੴ , given by Guru Nanak Sahib.

      it effectively replaced the SIkhi Nishan ੴ , given by Guru Nanak Sahib.
      Doing so, changed the focus from spiritual community to fighting force.
