Respected Anonymous ji
The joys of the festival should be shared with anyone, on any given day. There is nothing wrong with that.
But yes, in the days of Christmas we also have the history, martyrdom of Sahibzadas, the martyrdom of Sikhs, the martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur ji, the departure/Vicchorra of Guru Gobind Singh ji’s family, this is the golden history that will always be remembered by all the Sikhs. This history must be shared with your friends. While it is a good thing to be involved in someone else’s joys and sorrows, one must also remember one’s days and history.
There is no harm in sharing the happiness and knowledge with others. However, we should not forget the guidelines, our duties and responsibilities towards the teachings of Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib.
