In my view, You just need to become a seeker of knowledge. Read Gurbani, listen to Keertan, and Try to understand the message of Gurbani.
One more thing, you should start from scratch. If you try to learn Sikhism with the Hindu mindset, you will misinterpret everything.
For example, the objective of religion or motivation for most of the Hindus is prosperity, health, money, etc (in Short achieving Maaya / desires). Hindus mostly say: do this (ritual) if you want that (something), worship this god and in this way to get this thing, etc. Basically it is like a give and take relationship. Raavana was also a Hindu but his objective of practicing was to gain powers, fame, and money etc.
However, SGGS motivates us again and again towards achieving liberation (Mukti) and conquer Maayavi desires and guides us the way, which is love and submission/surrender to God. Just a desire to get united with him (God), no demands i.e. unconditional love. Under whatever circumstances he keeps us, we accept it.
Also, you will find the difference between deities (Shiva, Brahma, etc) and God, once you start learning Gurbani.

Please start studying, understanding and following the initial pages of Guru Granth Sahib and Assa Ke Vaar.

      ਗਾਵੀਐ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਮਨਿ ਰਖੀਐ ਭਾਉ ॥ Jap – 2

This includes Jap Ji, Rehras, Sohila and Assa Ke Vaar.
This will clear most of the doubts. Then there will be no problem for anyone to get converted to Sikhism.

There have been great answers provided before this one and I agree with all of them,
      May I humbly add:
Objective of Sikh life is to understand the functioning of this universe, society, one’s connection with it all and then live one’s liife accordingly. Be truthful, respecting, caring, and compassionate human being. Live in harmony with the society around and the universe.
This does not involve any religious rituals of any kind, except activities that will help one develop deeper understanding of the above. One can find all this in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

In fact any human can become a SIKH, because SIKHI is not religion, a SIKH is not HINDU, MUSLIM, CHRISTIAN, JEW OR BOTHI, a SIKH is a man of GOD, living truthful life. SIKH does not perform any rituals, believe in life after death theories and worthless religious practices. A SIKH lives in the present. A SIKH is a model of compassion, kindness, tolerance, love, equality and service of humanity. No one need to convert but adopt SIKHI WAY OF LIFE..
