Further, the undersigned wants to quote a Salok of Fifth Guru Person Guru Arjan Sahib, from Salok Sehaskriti Mehalla 5, in which Guru Sahib is addressing the problem of lust, results of indulging in it and also giving guidance to get rid of it, by building a strong character.
As taught in Gurbani, the main goal of a person/Sikh’s life should be to get rid of vices by being one with Akalpurakh/Guru, who are embodiment of each other and achieve the stage of spiritual equipoise (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ) and spiritual bliss (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਆਨੰਦ). The final goal is to achieve emancipation/salvation in this life itself (ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਣਾ) because there is no concept of emancipation/salvation, after death in Sikhism.

ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਭਰਮਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਪ ਤਪ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਧ ਆਚਰਨ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।

ਭਾਵ: ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਚੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਚਾਹੇ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਜਾਤਿ ਦੇ, ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਹੀ ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਰਥ: ਜੇ ਨੰਗੇ ਫਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੰਗਲ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।1।
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਦ ਤਕ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ, ਤਦ ਤਕ ਨੰਗੇ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਕੀਹ ਸੌਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡੇ ਤੇ ਚੰਮ ਲਪੇਟਿਆਂ ਕੀਹ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ?।1। ਰਹਾਉ।
ਜੇ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਇਆਂ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ (ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕੀਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਭੇਡ (ਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਮੁਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ?) ।2।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਬਾਲ-ਜਤੀ ਰਿਹਾਂ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਤਰ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਖੁਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ?।3।
ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! (ਬੇ-ਸ਼ੱਕ) ਆਖ– ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ।4। 4।
ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਨੰਗੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੌਣਾ, ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਕੀਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ, ਬਾਲ-ਜਤੀ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ = ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਧਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਾਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਕੇਵਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਬੇੜਾ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।4।
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅੰਧਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ, ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੇਕ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਲੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ, ਸਚਿਆਰ/ਗੁਣਵਾਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਣ ਕੇ, ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹਨ, ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਆਨੰਦ) ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ।

Firstly, I do not believe in scholars, scholastic interpretation of Sikhism. As this is only dimaagi / intellectual masturbation.
On the otherhand I believe in bachans of Saints /.Mahapurshs who have earned Sikhism via Naam Simran, Gurbani jaap etc as explained in SGGS.
Secondly, Akal Takht maryada was formed during British Raj and is not puratan (historic). For example – Rehraas is short. There new booklet calls for reading only 3 banis in the morning. In order to get proper maryada we need to look at – TAAKSAAL, Nanaksar, AKJ, Buddha Dal, Tarna Dal.
Thirdly, The shabad u quotes doesnt apply in this context.
If we remember the shabad from Dasam Granth where Guru Tegh Bahadur ji says even doing kalpna (imagination) of another female in dreams by mistake is forbidden…. then how can things like porn be not bujjer kurait bcoz the person is essentally doing the same mental kriya.
