The question here is if a SIKH women can remove hair from the body. We do not want to give impression the according to GURMAT it is violation of HUKM, or it is sin, because GOD reside in every hair follicle . Metaphorically GURU says GHAT GHAT MAHE HARJOO WASE meaning GOD, SATGURU, AKAL PURAKH is pervading in every heart, every human being and that we must love, respect and care for every member of the society. When GURU says SABAT SOORAT DISTAR SIRA means we must have unconditional devotion , love for GURU. I think putting such restrictions turn our youth away from SIKHI. This is my view, i am not perfect.
Dear Brother/Sister,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
In response to your question, the undersigned wants to bring to your kind notice one line at Panna 344 of Guru Granth Sahib ‘ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਮਹਿ ਬਸਹਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ॥
According to Punjabi Shabad Kosh ‘ਰੋਮ’ means ‘pore: ਅਰਥਾਤ ‘ਮੁਸਾਮ’ means ‘any small opening in the skin outer space of an animal (including human beings as well).
Further, at Panna 1084 of Guru Granth Sahib, the Guru advises us ‘ਨਾਪਾਕ ਪਾਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਹਦੀਸਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਸਿਰਾ ॥੧੨॥’ means not to disturb what Akalpurakh has given to you. Now the choice is of the human being, whether to remain in Akalpurakh’s Hukam or keep on fighting with Him for the entire life.
In view of the above, please take your own decision. If you have any further questions, please do ask.
Regards,
Your Brother
