When should we give the baby Amrit? Should we do that on the day of birth, or can we do it at home or in a Gurdwara?

SHABAD GURU, NAAM, DIVINE WISDOM, DIVINE VIRTUES is AMRIT. This AMRIT can be given at age a child can understand message of GURBANI. KHANDE DEE PAHUL is given after one has taken AMRIT as I said above.
Respected Anonymous;
I agree with the answer provided earlier.
Just to add a bit of details.
Gurbani is Amrit and Gurbani can be read to the child even in the mother’s womb. Definitely as early as it can be done.
As for Khanday Batay Di Pahul, erroneously called Amrit, is the choice of the one taking it. Khanday Di Pahul can be administered to a desiring individual when they have taken Gurbani Amrit and are able to understand the responsibility and perform the duties associated with it.
