What are the most important rituals that Sikhs must follow?
Let us first define what is RITUAL. PRESCRIBED FORMS OF RELIGIOUS WORSHIPS is called RITUAL. It also mean use of external forms in religion. In MAHAN KOSH , rituals are prescribed religious worships according to SHASHTRAS. GURBANI teaches us to perform religious duties those result in spiritual awakening, being SACHIARA, not for show off or exploiting others. GURU SAYS, BINN BUJHAI KARAM KMAWNAI JANAM PADARTH KHOAI meaning performing religious worship without understanding the message is meaningless. The only ritual I perform is to read GURBANI every day, understand the meaning and apply in daily life.
now a days the rituals performed r on the outside superficial where we r being trapped into karam kand Dharam de naa te jo karam keeta ja rahe han r pakhand these r rituals
The ritual to be followed by every Sikh is to follow sach the dharam that is the internal journey by understanding the Gurbani and bringing into practice and transformation should take place
