There are 3 parts in this question:
(1) Gurbani is meant for learning and getting enlightened. If there are large number of members who are able to study, like in Gurdwara Sahib, then it is ok. Otherwise it is better to keep Guru Granth Sahib in small volume forms (4 or more). Purpose is to becomie Sachyaar and not ritual paath or pooja.
(2) There is no question of being vegetarian or non vegetarian. Gurmat does not put any such restrictions. Please study the following Shabad in detail.
(3) Drinking or drugs are prohibited according to Gurmat.

This is a very good and relevant question. SGGS prakash, path, and sewa is an excellent thing, especially when you do it in your home. There is no problem if any member of your family is non-vegetarian, but if anyone is in the influence of alcohol or any such things then it is totally wrong. Because Gurbani’s hukam is (screenshot added)
