Thank you for asking a very good question coming in the minds of many a Sikhs these days.
Please note: I am unable to find any such direct mention in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bani.
As you seem to be well aware that meat is not served in Langer today.
The Sikh history, specially SAKHIAN, are replete with adulterated imaginary stories about Guru Sahib’s which even contradict the message of Guru Sahib themselves. So SAKHIAN are hardly the best source of History.
Some historic sources do indicate that meat was served in the Langer up to the time of Guru Angad Sahib and stopped during the time of Guru Amar Das Ji as Guru Amar Das ji was a vegetarian himself. How far that is true, I cannot verify one way other.
However, the Sikh Sant Samaj (clergy class)is against eating meat in daily life as well. Whereas, Sikh Scholars mostly claim that Sikhi does not forbid eating of meat. Even the Sikh Rehat Maryada (Sikh Code of Conduct) allows eating of non-Halal meat out side Gurduara.
It appears that meat is not served in the Langer so same food could be served to entire Sangat regardless of them being vegetarian or not.
