👏 first tell me what is jot and how it can be transferred to one body to another. If so then its miracle but in sikh religion there is no place for miracle. Another thing four gurus dont have words in SGGS then how anyone can count that gurus in ten. What about the jot of kabir, farid, and more who have words in SGGS.

        https://sgpc.net/?page_id=653

I m sorry to say that i m not satisfied with ur answer, panthak faisla it mean is forcefully imposed on us without any logic how we will explain to other religion people because sikhism is not a religion run by Guru nanak sahib its wave of welfare of humanity. U r answering me on behalf of history and bookish knowledge, but true religion is based on self consciousness and sprititual experience which is missed from ur answer.
One thing more if all gurus have same jot then why remaining four guru don’t have shabad in SGGS.

You are free to have your views. The undersigned has nothing further to add. You are not only questioning a Panthik decision but you are questioning Guru Granth Sahib as well.

              Baba g sat shri akaal
Guru nanak sahib was fully conscious and sprititual and they know what is wrong or right this is the reason they didn’t adopt family religion and didn’t follow religion by reading holy books. They raised questions on false rituals. And JOT is not a flame and can’t transfer one body to another and Guru nanak sahib didn’t say so.
Jot is knowledge or GIYAAN which guru nanak sahib given to others. And granth sahib is jot of all those gurus and bhagats who have words in granth sahib. Religion is a search of inner and we can’t become religious by reading books . Because jejus didn’t read bible, BUDH didn’t read tripatika and Guru nanak sahib didn’t read any granth but they know everything that is consciousness and spritituality.

(Reach the stage of spiritual emancipation/salvation in this life itself)।

      Respected Sirtaj Singh ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

In reply to your question, the undersigned wants to say that the First Guru Person, Guru Nanak Sahib had made it very clear, in his discussion with Yogis, that his Guru was Shabad when he said Shabad Guru Surat Dhun Chela

Therefore, Shabad was the Guru of Sikhs from the very beginning. Each of the Guru Persons, who were spiritually one with Akalpurakh, came with a, mission from Him, and after fulfillment of the same, were replaced with the next Guru Person. In Guru Granth Sahib it is recorded that though the bodies of Guru Persons changed but the Jot (flame or light) remained the same:-

      ਲਹਣੇ ਦੀ ਫੇਰਾਈਐ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਦੋਹੀ ਖਟੀਐ ॥ ਜੋਤਿ ਓਹਾ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਸਾਇ ਸਹਿ ਕਾਇਆ ਫੇਰਿ ਪਲਟੀਐ ॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 966}

      ਅਰਥ: (ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਦਾ ਤਿਲਕ ਬਾਬਾ ਲਹਣਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਤਾਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਦੀ ਧੁੰਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ, ਬਾਬਾ ਲਹਣਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਦੀ ਧੁੰਮ ਪੈ ਗਈ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ, (ਬਾਬਾ ਲਹਣਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਉਹੀ (ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਾਲੀ) ਜੋਤਿ ਸੀ, ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਢੰਗ ਭੀ ਉਹੀ (ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸੀ, ਗੁਰੂ (ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ) ਨੇ (ਕੇਵਲ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੀ) ਮੁੜ ਵਟਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

Finally, Tenth Guru Person, Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, after completing his mission, closed, the lineage of living Guru Persons, and ordained Guru Granth Sahib as ever living Guru of Sikhs.

In view of the above position, though Baani of first Five Guru Persons and Ninth Guru Person is there in Guru Granth Sahib but it is called Jot (Flame or light) of all the Guru Persons because not the bodies of Guru Persons but the Shabad was Guru all along and each of the Guru Persons had the same Jot.

Hope it helps. If you have any further questions, please do ask. If you find any deficiencies, please point out the same, for improvement in future.

      Regards,
      Your Brother
