If I have this inner feeling and do not cut my hair and keep natural that mean my way of life is in tune with teachings of THE GURU. In this state of my conscious I will not color or die hair. Given this it is your personal choice, no body is going to hold your hand. Look inside you , are you a good human being, have compassion , kindness, love for others. This is what matters the most. I can understand that youth of 21ist century like to experience different things. I believe is ok as long your basic goodness is intact.

Thanks for asking this very relevant question.

      Gurbani message is:
I like whatever you do. Nanak is only seeking the understanding of the functioning of this wrold.

Sikhi teaches us to accept the HUKAM of the Creator. Only thing important is to live truthful life.
      ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ (ਮ:੧, ਪੰ:੧)
Live within HUKAM and there is no reason to change anything.
However, taking care of this body, a gift of the creator, is important. So, use creams or shampoo, conditioner etc. is perfectly in order.

The purpose of life is to become Sachyaar by living according to the Hukam of Akal Purkh. Maintaining the body parts is important for the comfortable living.
Cutting of hair is like removing the body part. Any type of colouring or dying will alter the properties and functioning of hair. The chemical used can be harmful. We should confine to only those procedures like oiling, which have been tested since generations. Better not to get trapped in the propaganda of various business companies.

From a Manmukh to rising up to a Sachiara there are different gradings of an individual.
Whatever anti Gurmat we do, our grading is lowered accordingly.

As already answered by scholars, we should focus on the basic fundamentals of Sikhi ie live a truthful life and perform your duties towards the society and the environment.
