I had some Parshad from the Gurdwara at home and forgot about it. It’s now gone off/bad. What do I do?

Please throw Parshad away, it’s okay.
Lots of food in Gurdwara is thrown away when it goes bad. IkOnkar Hukam blessings to all humanity.
There are two types of Prasad.
The most important one is that which we get by listening understanding and following Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib. This we can keep on taking as much as it is possible. This never goes bad with time.
The second one is for physical eating. Preferably we should eat that there only. If someone is not able to attend the program it can be taken to share with him. However most important is to share the Gurmat teachings also with him or her. This Prasad is a physical entity, which can decay. Hence, this should not be kept for long time. If it goes bad then, this can be discarded like any other Langar item.
