In response to your question, the undersigned is quoting a Salok of Fifth Guru Person, Guru Arjun Sahib, located at Panna 1099 of Guru Granth Sahib. The Salok and its meanings are given below for your contemplation.

Guru Sahib is teaching us that with these eyes only worldly things can be seen and more you see them, our desire for more such things increases. There is no end to such desire and Akalpurakh can’t be seen with these eyes. To see Him, one has to have different eyes, which are not clouded by desire for worldly things. In other words, He can only be perceived spiritually and in nature and His creation including human beings. This is what Fourth Guru Person Guru Ramdas Sahib is teaching us, in the stanza of his Shabad, located at Panna 1201 of Guru Granth Sahib, which has been quoted below.

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ: ਲੋਇਣ = ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ । ਲੋਈ = ਲੋਕ, ਜਗਤ, ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥ। ਪਿਆਸ = ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ। ਮੂ = ਮੇਰੀ। ਘਣੀ = ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀ ਹੋਈ। ਅਖੜੀਆ = ਅੱਖਾਂ। ਬਿਅੰਨਿ = ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ। ਮਾ = ਮੇਰਾ।

ਅਰਥ: (ਜਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ) ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਨਿਰੇ) ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ (ਭਾਵ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਲਾਲਸਾ ਮੁੱਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ-ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਿੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ) ਉਹ ਅੱਖਾਂ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ-ਵੇੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ) ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪਤੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।3।

ਹਰਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਘਟਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਲਿ ਥਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਥਾਨ ਥਾਨੰਤਰਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਖਨ ਕੋ ਚਾਓੁ ॥ ਕੋਈ ਆਵੈ ਸੰਤੋ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਜਨੁ ਸੰਤੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਜਨੁ ਸੰਤੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਦਿਖਲਾਵੈ ॥ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਹਉ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੋਵਾ ਪਾਓੁ ॥੧॥ (ਪੰਨਾ 1201)

ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਤੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦਾ) ਰਾਹ ਵਿਖਾ ਜਾਏ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਮਲ ਮਲ ਕੇ ਧੋਵਾਂ।1।
