Diljit this kind of mind set has no place in SIKHI. There are millions who call themselves SIKH and are good people but wear something other than turban in the modern society. What matter how spiritually awakened and good at heart are you.

May I add, it is not already clear, the verse mentioned in the question is not from Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
It might be coined by some mischievous person to stir a divide among the Sikh Community like many other efforts.
