Bill Gates being a profit-making capitalist is not the right example, despite his highly publicized philanthropy. It seems you are trying to give an example of a good human being.
Yes, anyone can be good. But we must understand that ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is very subjective.
Sikhi came to establish human values by understanding the divine command under the universal message of Eckankar (One Creator). Gurbani, again and again, explains to us that we all are the creation of One.
‘Goodness’ that has come out from the understanding of divine hukam will bring peace, love, and equal justice. This goodness will be limitless as divine virtues of ‘nirbhau’ (fearless) and ‘nirvaer’ (without hate) will be the driving force. The goodness without divine virtues will always be very limited, like that of Bill Gates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNM833K22LM
