See lessUnfortunately, many festivals of Sikhs falls around the same festivals of parallel ritualistic religion. This is just coincidence or any scientific reason, I am not sure. Another consideration can be a business model. Now question arises, do we celebrate gurupurabs?
but before that ask, why majority gurdwaras overseas celebrate gurupurabs on Sundays only?
The word “GOLAK” has very powerful impact in our religion. Gurudwara clashes are very common now.
If we want to celebrate, lets celebrate by reading, understanding, comprehending, implementing and then spreading the SHABAD of SGGS.

The reason I said all this because historically on Indian subcontinent caste system started on a good note but it turned into ugly discrimination and hateredness.

Personally, I knew which caste I belong to but I made sure this message won’t pass further to my kids. That’s why, me and my son has last name “Singh” and my wife “Kaur” . This is my effort and wish we all do it.
