Ever been so lost in meditation that you forget your body and feel non-physical vibrations? Experienced this?

Disclaimer: I’m not a sikh. But I’m interested in the teachings of the Gurus. Yes I do. It’s very strange. Like a trance. Mine is due to seizures though. When they happen when I’m trying to meditate, I get weird out of body experiences. Not sure if this is a possibility for you as well.

This website is my only way to contact other sikhs. There are no sikhs in my town and a very few in the biggest city nearby. Taking care of long hair is not hard unless your arms can’t raise above your head. It makes it rather difficult.

So I could become a sikh and still cut my hair? The problem is that I can’t wash my hair by myself. That makes it very difficult to keep my hair reasonably nice (and healthy). I do like the spiritual significance of not cutting hair.

“One can learn the recognition of alphabet in a week by just spending an hour daily.” I couldn’t learn the lithuanian alphabet in a week and it’s mostly the same as the english one. :) Maybe you are a quick learner. But I will read the articles.

“you might be having dyslexia. “
I mean you no offense, but I don’t think that you know what dyslexia is. It’s not a temporary thing that you get, it’s a reading disorder. Dyslexia is when you struggle to understand how to match sounds to letters.
But you are right:I shouldn’t give up. I need to keep trying

Okay maybe I could explain better: I have reason to believe that I might have dyslexia. But I have never been tested or diagnosed. And I want to read in Gurmukhi script but I can’t read the script. And I’m wondering if anyone has any advice

What does that mean? Sounds like a British saying that I assume means that it’s not easy to do.
