    1. clearly the OP or someone they know are going through a tough time. do u think you should be helpful or make it that little more difficult for them to seek help.
    2. plesse also understand, you just need to look at the current situation in punjab. people are very far from sikhi. be appreciative, that people born outside punjab are trying to learn and comnect to sikhi. in punjab they may know how to read punjabi, but majority have no interest in learning sikhi. take note.
    3. very patronising comment – suggesting we learn punjabi. so you have assumed. let me respectfully point out – some of us do go punjabi school. we learn…. we learn our mother tongue. we speak fluent. but we may not always be able to read fluent. u mention busy schedules?! i hope you are aware how busy it gets before making such comments.
    4. i hope you recognise, this platform was created to address ALL people from different walks of life. correct me if im wrong, this is not just for fluent punjabi speaking/reading audience. if it is, then may i suggest this app gets re designed to punjabi.
    5. i have participated and enjoyed this app for many years. i have learnt valuable information. however recently, i say this respectfully, since you have come aboard, i interact less due to your mindset of not including the wider audience.
    6. im very disappointed to say, this issue has been raised before too. no one expects you to just reply in english, but help us out here a little.

like i said, i do not wish to engage in further debates. your lack of understanding is becoming exhausting. if you cannot understand your audience, then not much more to be said.

With all due respect and i do not wish to offend, it appears you choose not to take any feedback. Few months ago, i respectfully asked if you could publish responses in English too. Few months ago, i respectfully asked if you could publish responses in English too. THe reason- most of your audience here seem to be from outside India. Meaning we may have been born outside India. And yes we are trying to learn and connect to sIkhi and are very greatful for this amazing platform. I did point this out more than once.
Today, i read this sad comment. Clearly the OP has asked a very deep question ans in English. So one can assume, they may not be able to read punjabi. You have written a thorough response – but what if OP cannot understand it.
I cant understand, why you are not taking constructive feed back. There are others that responsd both in PUnjabi and English. But for some reason SIr, you feelings differ. Apologies if i come across frustrated, but clearly the OP or someone they know are going through a difficuly phase. This platform is suppose ro be productive.

I can see that you have asked in English, I am frustrated to see the yet ONCE again, the response has been given in punjabi. I do not understand why the respected gentleman, does not take feed back. I guess he wants us to use google translate.
Moving forward, gurbani does not allow suicide. Please start doing simran, even if you start with 5 minutes. Very powerful and connects you to waheguru.

Is Westernization causing a loss of traditional Sikh values and customs?

Not neccisarily; India seems to be doing a great job of losing its values. You just have to look at made up babas and deras - seems like a large amount of people follow them and mix it with Sikhi/gurbani. Sadly, its not just the western world only.

please see all questions. large amount are responded in punjabi. As stayed, in my original post, i would find it difficult reading it in punjabi. Most, if not all questions are interesting. And most are asked in English. However, if this can be taken into consideration this will be much appreciated.
