It is in Punjabi, if you can understand. But basically Sikhs dont eat halal because it is a cruel method and the animal is basically alive and knows it will die, it is full of fear. Sikhs are compassionate and merciful and compassion / love is foremost. Henceforth, Halal which is a cruel method of killing the animal is not acceptable. Not just halal but any other type of meat which is not killed by Jhatka (one blow of sword) is unacceptable.

Meat issue varies from samprada to samprada. But all Sikh Panth has accepted this fact that meat halal is forbidden. This is decision of AKAL TAKHT.
As for Jhatka meat this tradition among Nihangs and is your choice. No one criticizes this. Its a maryada established from the past and I see nothing wrong.

I dont have time. I would spend that time in something useful. If you are interested you can do your own research. If you want to eat halal meat you can do so and follow your own manmat.

5) The abive Gurbani is applicable on Brahmins who considered them holy above everyone by avoiding meat. Gurbani does not give u license to torcher, maim and do mass killing of animals for food indistry. This is another hell for animals.

Bhagat Kabir ji says in SGGS those who eat meat will goto hell !!! Jhatka has been practiced as its puratan maryada of nihangs, via reciting Gurbani. No other meat is allowed for a Sikh. No walmart meat. No eating of beef as its a sin !
