ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਨਾ ਨੰਬਰ 136 (੧੩੬) ਉਪਰ ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਦਿਨ ਰੈਣਿ, ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਭਾਵ ਮਾਝ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਚਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਅਧੀਨ ਚਾਰ ਬੰਦਾਂ (ਪਉੜੀਆਂ) ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੈ।ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਾਰਹਮਾਹਾ ਵਿੱਚ 12 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ।ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਕੇ, ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਊਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰਹਲੇ 234(੨੩੪)
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਨਾ ਨੰਬਰ 234 ਉਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਕਰਹਲੇ
ਇਹ ਰਾਗ ਗਉੜੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹੈ, ਚੌਥੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਹੈ ਕਰਹਲੇ।
ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਲੈਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।ਊਠ ਤੇ ਊਠਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਛੱਡਕੇ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ (ਊਠ ਊਠਣੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਕੇ ਇਸ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ! ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ।ਉਸ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਵੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
ਬਾਵਨ ਅਖਰੀ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੋ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਇੱਕ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਭਗਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਬਾਵਨ ਅਖਰੀ ਭਾਵ 52 ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਚਨਾ।ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਤਰਤੀਬ ਹੈ ,ਉਹ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪਾਂਧੇ ਪੜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾਸ਼ਵੰਤ ਹੈ, ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੱਖਰ ਵੀ ਨਾਸ਼ਵੰਤ ਹਨ।ਉਸ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਐਸਾ ਅੱਖਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।
ਸੁਖਮਨੀ 262 (੨੬੨)
ਇਹ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਗਉੜੀ ਰਾਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੰਨਾ ਨੰਬਰ 262 (੨੬੨) ਉਪਰ ਸੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ 24 ਅਸ਼ਟਪਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਅਸ਼ਟਪਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਅਸ਼ਟਪਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਠ ਪਉੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ।ਪਹਿਲੀ ਅਸ਼ਟਪਦੀ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਉੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਰਹਾਉ ਦੀ ਪੰਕਤੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Din Rain 136 (੧੩੬)
On page number 136 (੧੩੬) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji comes the title Majh Mahla 5 Din Rain. Meaning in Majh Raag this is the composition of Pancham Patshah Dhan Guru Arjan Sahib Ji. Under this title the Bani is in four stanzas (pauris). As in the case of 12 months in Barahmah, in the same way Satguru Ji has mentioned day and night in it and explained how to remember God. We should always remember the good qualities/virtues of God Day and night and live our life accordingly.
Karhale 234 (੨੩੪)
This title is recorded on page number 234 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Raag Gauri Poorbi Mahla 5 Karhale
This Raag is Gauri Poorbi, composed by the fourth Patshah Dhan Guru Ram Das Sahib Ji. Its title is Karhale.
In ancient times, traders used camels to move goods from one place to another. They used to leave the calves at home. Bani is recorded under this title keeping in mind the love of the children (calves) as they used to remember their parents. O man! Just like those children, always remember God in your mind. Fall in love with that Beloved God so that you too may succeed in coming into the world.
Bawan Akhri
This title appears in two places inside Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. One is the composition of Dhan Guru Arjan Sahib Ji and the other is composed by Bhagat Kabir Ji. Bawan Akhri means a composition of 52 letters. The order of the letters in it is from the ancient times which were taught by Pandhe/Pandit at that time. It explains that the whole process of the world is going on through these letters. Everything used in the world is perishable, even the letters used in languages are perishable. There is no character to describe that Akal Purakh who can describe his infinite qualities.
Sukhmani 262 (੨੬੨)
This title is in Gauri Raag and is the composition of Pancham Patshah Dhan Guru Arjan Sahib Ji. It is recorded on the page number 262 of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It has 24 Ashtpadis. Each Ashtpadi also has a Salok and each Ashtpadi has eight Pauris. After the first stanza of the first Ashtpadi comes the line of Rahau.
