In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that Punjabi is the language of Sikhs and Gumukhi is the script, which is used to write the Punjabi language. The entire Guru Granth Sahib is written in the Gurmukhi script.
The Sikhs need to learn Punjabi/Gurmukhi, to understand Guru Granth Sahib correctly, because without doing so they can’t understand what Guru Sahib wanted to convey in the Shabads included in the Guru Granth Sahib.
