Is "sat" (Truth) in Sikh teachings seen as a descriptor of Waheguru's properties, or is it directly synonymous with Waheguru?

Respected Ash Kapoor ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
1. In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that the word ‘Waheguru’ is combination of two words:-
‘Wahe (ਵਾਹਿ)’ means that the Almighty is worth praising (ਭਾਵ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸਤਤ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ); and
‘Guru (ਗੁਰੂ)’ means that the Almighty provides knowledge, in the darkness of ignorance (ਭਾਵ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਰੂਪੀ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ).
2. Guru Granth Sahib teaches a person/Sikh to get rid of vices (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾਉਣਾ) and become a righteous/virtuous (ਸਚਿਆਰ/ਗੁਣਵਾਨ) person (Gurmukh, ਗੁਰਮੁਖ).
3. The goal of becoming a righteous/virtuous person was laid down by the First Guru Person Guru Nanak Sahib, in the first Pauri of Jap Baani itself, when he said:-
Kiv Sachiara hoiey, Kiv Kude Tute Pal,
Hukam Rajai Chalna, Nanak likhya Naal.
4. Hope it helps. If you have any further questions, please do ask. If you find any deficiencies, please point out the same, for improvement in future.
Regards,
Your Brother
In the beginning of Guru Granth Sahib, the attributes of One God (Akalpurakh), with whom a person can become one with the help of Shabad Guru, are defined as under:-
ੴ (Ik Onkar) (One Universal Creator God);
ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ (Sat Naam) (The Name Is Truth);
ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ (Karta Purakh) (Creative Being Personified);
ਨਿਰਭਉ (Nirbhau) (No Fear);
ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ (Nirvair) (No Enmity or Hatred),
ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ (Akal Moorat) (Image of the undying);
ਅਜੂਨੀ (Ajuni) (Beyond Birth);
ਸੈਭੰ (Saibhang) (Self-existstant);
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ (Gur Parsad) (By Guru’s Grace).
Ash Kapoorji SAT, SACH in GURBANI is used for SHABAD GURU, BANI GURU, SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENER. In SIKHI GOD has no name. WAHEGURU is an adjective, meaning that spiritual enlightener, SATGURU is of praiseworthy. WAHEGURU is not synonymous to SHABAD GURU, BANI GURU, IK OANGKAR.
Veracity is one of the attributes of Almighty Waheguru.
Thank you, everyone, for answering the question. I have learned a lot from you.
