I'm thinking about taking Amrit, but I have some questions.
Anonymousji you are talking about taking KHANDE DEE PAHUL. Guru says AMRIT HAR KA NAAM HAI, NANAK AMRIT MANAI MAHE . So you should think about taking AMRIT OF NAAM, BANI, SHABAD. Once you have taken this AMRIT then go for taking KHANDE DEE PAHUL.

See lessDid my great-grandfather possess supernatural abilities? He used secret Mantars for healing, and their origin is unknown. This practice was widespread in the past. I'm curious about the Mantars' origin, any associations with Devi Devte, and if there are any relevant sakhis. I'm not interested in learning them; I'm seeking historical and theological context.
Healing through Mantras is common practice in many religions. This is nothing but exploitation of innocent people. GURBANI completely reject this concept. See lessSince Sikhi teaches that the main goal of human life is to become one with God, I'm curious why souls separated from God in the first place. Can you explain this in simpler terms?
Simran Randhawaji very interesting question. Why consciously we get separated from God . GURU says HAUMAI WICH JAG OPJAI PURKHA NAAM VISRIAI DUKH PAEE. This mean path of ego, separation and path of divinity, connection to God is a life drama created by nature , God. GURU says GURU MERE SANGH SADA HARead more

This mean path of ego, separation and path of divinity, connection to God is a life drama created by nature , God. GURU says GURU MERE SANGH SADA HAI NALAI , divine is within us, this is who we are, our true self. A child when born is one with divine within. As the child grow he is exposed to egoistic, MAYA drama of life. This is the play of life. Attachment to MAYA is separation from divine within. As humans we have freedom to choose path of ego or path of divinity. If the whole world choose the path of divinity there will be no separation. In short SATGURU is never separate from us, it is us who choose the egoistic path. Hope this explain. Ask further explaination if needed

See lessHow does a Sikh remain committed to Sikhism when the idea that all paths can lead to Ram/Allah/Waheguru challenges the notion that one religion can hold absolute truth?
To answer your question in simple words. Guru says EKO DHARAM DIRRAI SACH KOEE (SGGS PAGE 1188) meaning there is only one path to reality. That one path is how to be SACHIARA, SPIRITUALLY ENLIGHTNED. Sikh only follow that path of ONENESS, IK OANGKAR. There are thousands of religions but one path.
