Why only the suffering pray to God?

When we suffer we get close to God as we hope God can alleviate our suffering. God’s name gives solace to our aching hearts and also the strength to solve our problems and win the battles of our lives. When everything is going fine in our life then we are enticed by the impact of the materialistic world.

ਦੁਖੁ ਦਾਰੂ ਸੁਖੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਭਇਆ ਜਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਤਾਮਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

The people who remember God all the time, their mental state becomes elevated and they are not impacted by suffering and they maintain the stability of their minds even in adversities.
