ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੇਠ 2003 ਵਿਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੁੜ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਨਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੀ।
