      many religions get together with us on our auspicious days
      so no harm in celebrating with others except for limiting ourselves to not going against sikh maryada

      On new year eve people from all walk of life go to pubs hotel and booze and have fun But if people r diverted from these society where people r being mislead r diverted to the gurudwara it helps the young generation from going astray But yes new year is in the English calendar and we must remember our own new year in April
