why bad happened with good peoples. some people follow Sikhism but still they r sad

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that no person can be judged, as good or bad, by an outsider. It is only the person himself or Akalpurakh sitting inside the person, as what is called Atma, knows about the person.

Now coming to death of human beings, the Guru teaches us that the birth and physical death happens, as per Divine Law (ਹੁਕਮ/ਰਜ਼ਾ/ਭਾਣਾ), but more important is not to die spiritual death. Guru Sahib guides us that by taking refuge of Akalpurakh and Shabad Guru, who are spiritually embodiment of each other, one can achieve spiritual life i.e. spiritual equipoise (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ) and spiritual bliss (ਆਤਮਿਕ ਆਨੰਦ) by getting rid of vices and becoming a righteous/virtuous person (ਸਚਿਆਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ):-

ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਹੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ।।

ਅਰਥ: ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾ ਮਰਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਤੇ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ।।

ਮਰਣੁ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਆਏ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਣਾ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਾਪਿ ਰਹਣੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਅਰਥ: (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਸਰੀਰਕ) ਮੌਤ-ਰੂਪ ਹੁਕਮ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਲਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜੰਮਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਹੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਰਨਾ ਭੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ) । ਸੋ, ਇਥੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ। (ਹਾਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।1। ਰਹਾਉ।।

Now coming to sorrow and pleasure/happiness (ਦੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ), Guru Sahib guides that the sorrow and pleasure/happiness are like a person changing clothes and, as per Divine Law, their cycles will continue to come in life and it is better to bear the same, without any ifs and buts:-

ਮਃ ੧ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੋਲਣੁ ਝਖਣਾ ਦੁਖ ਛਡਿ ਮੰਗੀਅਹਿ ਸੁਖ ॥ ਸੁਖੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਦੁਇ ਦਰਿ ਕਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਰਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਨੁਖ ॥ ਜਿਥੈ ਬੋਲਣਿ ਹਾਰੀਐ ਤਿਥੈ ਚੰਗੀ ਚੁਪ ॥੨॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 149}

ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਇਹ ਜੋ) ਦੁਖ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸੁਖ ਪਏ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਜੇਹਾ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਖਪਾਈ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸੁਖ ਤੇ ਦੁਖ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਨਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਥੇ ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ; ਸੋ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਗਿਲਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਅੰਤ) ਹਾਰ ਹੀ ਮੰਨਣੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਓਥੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਨਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ) ।2।

ਦੁਖ ਸੁਖ ਦੋਊ ਸਮ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੈ ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥ (ਪੰਨਾ 1256)

ਅਰਥ: ‘ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਸਲੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਸਹਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਹੈ।
