Sakhi is not written by Guru Sahiban but by others and what is written fails when the touchstone of Gurbani is applied. Therefore, the Sikhs need to believe in Gurbani only, because it is Guru whereas Sakhi is only literature but not Guru. However, Sikhs generally like sakhis because the same are in story form, with added miracles, which are rejected by Gurbani.
