      This Bani contains Bani of 1st, 4th, 5th Patshahis. There is no written evidence as to how this Bani got its name. It is just an idea that this name has been taken from the word Rahras in this Bani. At the time of Pancham Patshah, the name of the Bani So Dar was not Rehraas, because if that was the case then the index in SGGS would have the name Rehraas instead of So Dar. But some historical researches show that at the time of Dasmesh Pita ji the name of this Bani was prevalent as Rehraas. Because it is mentioned in the writings of Bhai Nand Lal Singh Ji:
      *ਬਿਨ ਰਹਰਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਜੋ ਖੋਵੈ*
      But with the change of time, the name of this Bani became Rehraas.
