Please start reading Gurbani yourself one Shabad at a time. Best is translation by Prof. Sahib Singh.
Starting to read Gurbani translation by Bhai Sahib Singh is good. However it is not the most logical and interesting way to learn the fundamentals of Sikhi.
Normally, the beginers have desire to understand some fundamental beliefs of Sikhi before ging into deeper understanding of Gurbani.
And the best way to laern a sunject is to follow a curriculumn. watch some videos, join some discussion groups.
If you need I can guide you to some Zoom discussion groups and some online classes for learning Sikhi. There is one every Sunday for the beginers. please let me know if you have interest.
Bhai Sahib Singh’s translation of Gurbani of1950(+&-), especially of Japu Bani, is fraught with far too many pitfalls starting from the first page onwards.
The seven volume translation of Harjinder Singh Dilgeer of 2016 is a marked improvement on the earlier works.
Thanks for the answer
