Respected Jeevan ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
As understood by the undersigned, since Gurbani included in Guru Granth Sahib is in Gurmukhi so it can be very well said that the official language of the Sikhs is Gurmukhi. However, a Sikh should learn as many languages as possible.
One can say the he/she will read Gurbani in translated languages. He/she can do it but the real emotions are lost in translation, which he/she will not be able to catch. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Regards,
Your Brother
